SaaS Solution
Discovery Management Software® (DMS) is deployed as a hosted service or better known as Software as a Service, (SaaS). Customers access DMS over a secured VPN Internet connection to process their daily business transactions and access management reports. Our technology partner IBM is the backbone in delivering Tier 1 reliability of our SaaS product.
Businesses turn to hosted solutions as a cost effective and productive solution. Our customer base is mostly in Canada, 30% in USA and 5% in various countries around the world. Well service companies typically reside in remote locations, hence a SaaS solution is the most cost effective means of setting up those sites.

Saves Capital: SaaS does not require user licensing fees for Discovery Management Software®, operating systems, databases or require capital for a separate, dedicated ERP hardware server. All of these resources are included in the SaaS Solution.
Saves Resources: Customers do not need to spend time or energy keeping the ERP solution current and protected. Servers and software require maintenance to keep them current with the latest versions and service packs. In a SaaS Solution, Discovery keeps the infrastructure current at all times and maintains the day-to-day activities that ERP solutions demand such as performing backups, answering system messages, managing servers, etc. The SaaS lets customers focus on their business activities and not on the business of running a computer system.
Disaster Recovery: DMS SaaS has a built-in disaster recovery plan that typically goes far beyond most Small and Medium Businesses have. Discovery's SaaS has redundant servers in bunkered (co-located) facilities, dual hardware systems (routers, tapes, etc.), dual high speed Internet providers and off-site tape storage plus a High Activity mirorred server at another remote site. Having a Tier 1 disaster recovery solution in place as part of the service we offer is just one less activity to manage in a business. You would have the same level of infrastructure as a billion dollar enterprise would demand.
